1. Where are the saunas located?

Kuuma Amsterdam Marineterrein located on the steps at the waterfront at Pension Homeland and the natural swimming water of the Marineterrein. Kattenburgerstraat 5, Amsterdam

Kuuma Amsterdam Noord is located at the waterfront in front of FC Hyena. Aambeeldstraat 24, Amsterdam

Kuuma Breda is located at the waterfront of Pier  15, Veilingkade 12, 4815 HC Breda

Kuuma Nijmegen is located at the beach next to the Lentse Plas and Moeke restaurant. Willem van Arenbergstraat 6, NIjmegen

Kuuma Scheveningen is located at the beach in front of Hart Beach. Strandweg 3, Scheveningen

Kuuma Wijk aan Zee is located next to Aloha at the beach. Reyndersweg 2, Velsen-Noord

Kuuma Katwijk staat aan het strand bij Surf en Beach. Boulevard Zeezijde 9, Katwijk aan Zee

Kuuma Rotterdam staat op de kade van de Rijnhaven bij Fenix Food Factory. Nico Koomanskade 1025, Rotterdam

3. What does Kuuma cost?
A drop-in ticket for 75 minutes costs €15.
A group booking of 1.5 hours for 8 people costs €100 off-peak and €120 during peak hours

4. What are the opening hours? 

Check the booking page of the sauna you would like to book. 

5. I want to change or cancel my reservation, is that possible?
Yes, that is possible. Click on the link in the confirmation email of your reservation. It is possible to change your booking to a different location, date or time up to 24 hours prior to your booking. If you cancel your booking before 48 hours of the start of the reservation, you will receive the full amount of your booking back. For cancellations between 48 and 24 hours in advance of your booking, you will receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid.

6. Can I change on location?
All our sauna’s have a small changing room. You can also change outside.

7. What should I bring?
Swimwear, two towels, slippers and a bottle of water.

8. With how many people can I use the sauna?
For group bookings the saunas have a maximum of 8 people. For drop-in bookings the saunas have a maximum of 6 people.

9. Is there drinking water in the changing room?
Yes there is a tap in the dressing room, drink enough!

10. Is there a hot shower?
No, there is only a cold shower on the outside of the sauna.

11. Is there a restroom in the changing room?
No, not in the sauna itself. Visitors can use the facilities of our partners.

12. Are there lockers?
No we currently don’t have lockers. The front door of the sauna is locked at all time.

13. Can I bring my own food and drink?
No, you can only bring drinking water.

14. How hot is the sauna, and can I adjust the temperature myself?
The sauna is set to 80 degrees as standard, by pouring water on it you can temporarily raise the temperature.

15. Can I go naked in the sauna?
No, we ask you to please wear swimwear.

16. Are you allowed to swim near the sauna?
You can swim in the water at Kuuma Marineterrein. At Kuuma Noord swimming isn’t allowed. You can swim in the lake next to Kuuma Nijmegen. At Kuuma Scheveningen and Wijk aan Zee you can swim in the sea.

17. Do you have a gift card?
Yes we do, you can order a gift card 
here.

18. How does the clip card work? 
To purchase a clip card, you first need to create an account, note that you have to choose a specific region. Once you have purchased the clip card, you will receive credit in your account. When you log in, your credit will be automatically used for bookings. Please note: that your credit is only used when making a booking for one person. If you want to reserve for more people, you will need to make multiple bookings. The credit is valid for one year from the date of purchase.

19. How do the regions work for gift and clip cards?
Our booking system contains of two regions, select the right region:

  • North; Amsterdam and Wijk aan Zee
  • South; Scheveningen, Nijmegen, Katwijk, Rotterdam and Breda
